the beach

Frost drifted with the lucid wings of gale,
the icy waters runs deep, far beyond reach.
Empty shells echoed the one mortal tale,
scattered like forgottened tombs,
on the desolate beach,
never once remembered.

Nethertheless,
the delicate cycle of life twirls on,
as shoals of tuna fleet past,
Giving hope that vehemence will spawn,
No matter the spells the storms cast,
The tuna will always return.

Though sands of time slips away and soon, gone
The tidal touch of Lady Ocean continue to caress
To nudge, on the seaboard, frozen and forlorn,
The tranquil waters of life,
And an abyssal vow to profess,
"I won't forsake you".

As the sun slowly sets, beaming
An unbroken promise,
To meet again the next morning,
Upon the beach, as the skies grew dull,
Yet hope unfaltering,
shimmered in the halcyon horizon,
In a lonely buoy wishing upon a single gull.
